Our goal is to give each of our clients the best experience possible, so we have some policies in place to both respect our clients, and our Beauty Consultants.

Studio & Appointment Policies

PAYMENT

We prefer Cash/Check/Zelle for payment. Zelle for Services & Product Only (not tipping) – elmhurststudio@merlenormanstudio.com. Confirm your payment to: L’isabeth LLC (aka Merle Norman Cosmetics & SophistiKids Boutique)

TIPPING

We kindly request that tips for a service well done be provided in cash or via Venmo/Zelle directly to your Beauty Expert.

RETURNED PRODUCT

Merle products may be returned within 30 days. Non-Merle products that have not been used or opened may be returned within 30 days. Products must be in the same condition as they were sold, and all tags must be attached. All items must be unworn and not washed. All returns must be with the receipt for an exchange or Studio credit. Discounted products, discontinued products, earrings, hats, hair products and swimwear are final sale. No exceptions.

APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATIONS

If you do not receive your appointment confirmation via email, it is your responsibility to contact us so we can confirm your information is correct in our system. We do not place phone call reminders, as it is the client’s responsibility to know their appointment schedule.

CELL PHONE

Please refrain from cell phone use during your appointments that would cause your Beauty Expert to have to stop or wait during your appointment.

RESCHEDULING

We understand that rescheduling an appointment is sometimes a necessity, although, after the third time you need to reschedule with less than 24-hour notice, we will require a credit card on file for all future appointments. You will then be charged the full amount for the missed service on any future rescheduled appointments with less than 24-hour notice.

CANCELLATIONS

We require 24-hour notice for a cancelled appointment. If it is outside of business hours, cancel by using the link at the bottom of your email confirmation or leave a voicemail. We understand that having to cancel is sometimes a necessity, although, after the third time you need to cancel with less than 24-hour notice, we will require a credit card on file. You will then be charged the full amount of the missed service on any future cancelled appointments with less than 24-hour notice.

NO-SHOW

If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment, we will require a credit card on file. You will be required to pre-pay for future services.
